Taylor Swift made the 2009 CMA Awards her night, winning four awards and giving two sparkling performances at country music's premiere event Nov. 11 in Nashville.
The evening's most emotional moment came when country's reigning princess was named Entertainer of the Year, fittingly presented by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.
The 19-year-old singer-songwriter is the youngest person and first woman to win the coveted prize since Shania Twain in 1999. Taylor also won awards for best Female Vocalist, best Album for the multiplatinum "Fearless," and best Video for "Love Story."
The fashion trend-setter opened the show with a powerful glam rock performance of "Forever and Always," clad in skin-tight black leather pants, and later slowed it down with her sentimental favorite "Fifteen," wearing a more traditional violet sundress. Tay turned heads on the red carpet glowing in an elegant gold gown with dazzling sequined bodice, and the perfect topper -- throwback hair harkening Hollywood's glamor days.

Dang this day was all Taylor swift. Starts out with the tpain rap, then forever and always live, then fifteen live, 4 awards, and then performing with def leppard. Mustve been exhausting
