i used isopropyl alcohol for the video, i had a small amount of gas dry (its 98% methanol) but i used it up before i got my camera, and my screw is too small for the hole so a little alcohol escapes from there distorting the flame pattern. other than that it works great, i have yet to actually cook with it though.

  • Very Nice. I see you used two tin cans as the body of the stove. If you had built it to where the outer can was just a little taller and had a built in pot stand.. Sounds like project time for me. I hope you do not mind me taking your idea and using it to create my own style like this, after all it is finished I'll then post a video in response to this one of course. Great work, great ideas

  • @NCHiker1970 dont worry about taking my idea, its not mine, i got this off of another youtuber, its 2 soda pop can bottoms, ones pressed into another with small holes drilled in it.
