Compact, Clean 3x3 Piston Door [Advanced Redstone Tutorials]

Howdy Partnoids! Sorry for the lack of uploads recently; I've had some serious work to get on with irl but should be back and rocking by the end of next week. In the mean time though I hope you enjoy this circuit I've come up with. I've always wanted to tackle the 3x3 door and this is what I've got! Cheers - CNB

@redstorm1340 All i know is that glowstone can be used with redstone so i wouldnt use them with each other. If your using them side by side id say redstone and the glowstone will react with each other. =]] maybe try like this

this works really well for me until I changed my floor to glow stone. When I did that I found that the double piston extender circuit messed itself up leaving one of the pistons out of its original place. Does anyone know what the reason behind the glow stone interference is?

@bowow0807 you could probably use the same mechanism as for the popular 2x2 piston door to remove the outer blocks of the 3x3 door.

...or you just use the mechanism for the middle block and the one below it, which is what I did to lower a section of a 2block high wall.
