I built mine from a Kit so I modified the pod a little. The Motrolfly 2210-1700 works great and is very efficient with a 6x5.5 i am only pulling around 12amps. ailerons are a must for me and glad i made the modigications. The battery is a Sonic Power 1300mah 11.1V 20C. The back of the battery is at the start of the nose to get the CG right.

Looks great...I bought one recently that was built, but not finished...How do you like the power plant? It looks like plenty of power. Were you able to put the motor directly on the pod? And obviously you added ailerons. How do you like it with ailerons? What MaH batts did you squeeze in? Sorry for all the questions.
