LED Tail Light Install In A Ford Foxbody Mustang

Bought these LED tail lights from American Muscle. I know a lot of people dont like them but I think they are different and pretty cool. Figured i would post up a quick install video since they dont come with any instructions. Main thing to remember is to not be an idiot like I was and plug your old harness' right into the housing even though they fit, there is new wiring that takes the place of your old bulbs and plugs into where your old bulbs go. Number two just match the red with the red and black with the black and they work great!

@Rumeel12708 Personally I miss my Black Euro tails, Go online to Mr.Bodykit they have alot of lights to choose from, you may like another set better, or they may have fixed the problems in these. Hit me back if u have anymore questions I check emails daily. Take care.

@cameornwhitmire Your connectors may be turned around. Try twisting the connector 180 degrees, this was a problem I had too, and cause a short in my turn signal switch which led to another short in my main wiring harness. It was a big mess, caused alot of stuff to short out( alternator getting hot, draining battery, and window switches burnt out) So make sure you fix it ASAP.

@Rumeel12708 these small wires that make contact to cause your turnsignal to blink, they easily bend and break off, if they do u have to go to the parts store and buy a replacement plug, there has been a couple times where they wiggled loose and I was driving with no tail lights, brake lights worked fine, but no tails. If you do buy them, make sure you take extra care to get the conections put in right, it will cause a short if you don't. Other than that I think they are badass, just be careful.

@Rumeel12708 Yeah, I bought mine off ebay for 79.00 brand new, in the box. They were in a sealed factory carton came with no instructions, which wasn't a problem for bolting them in but they have some little plugs on them where your bulb sockets pop in, you can easily switch the connections arounds, by that I mean they are all different but by turning the connector the wrong way can cause your wiring to short out, mine have caused me alot of trouble. I have the same lights on my fox, i've had alot of problems with them though.
