What you have done (editing out most all except most intense part of the ride) is the norm for surf porn. As a waterman who utilizes various kayaks including a surf yak I enjoy a more holistic viewing experience. I like to experience the paddle into the wave, the thrashing when caught inside etc. If you also would like to show more footage than why not upload longer and or multiple videos?
