where the heck is THAT road? My cousin and I took the Laurel Lakes Road, and chickened out cause it got too extreme for us first timers. That definitely was not the trail we took, we only made it about 3/4 of the way.

@Animal1984 It's Forest Road 4S86. If you check the video description, you'll find a link to a blog post which includes a Google map, and a .gpx file. Have a look and see if it's the road you were on. With careful tire placement (meaning driving over rocks with your tires so you don't bottom your diffs out on them) you can make it up there in a stock, high-clearance 4x4.
