EXCELLENT VIDEO!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE IT. THX i'M GETTING AN iMAC CORE I5 FOR CHRISTMAS THIS, AFTER SPYING AROUND ON MY DAD :) OH! MEANT SANTA... SO ANY WAY, WAS THINKING AND RESEARCHING AROUND TO POSSIBLY MOUNT THIS iMAC ON MY BR.
LOOKS SIMPLE AND I GUESS IT SHOULD BE THE SAME THING FOR THE iMAC JUST LIKE WITH THE CINEMA DISPLAY.

@LastStopReviews Great thanks! I didn't think about subtracting out the weight of the stand.

Do you have problems holding up a 24" Apple Cinema Display on the Ergotron LX? The LX specs say it can only hold up to 20lbs, but the 24" Cinema Display is about 21lbs.

@stanford202 Because the display is so heavy it has doesn't move as freely as it would with a lighter display, but it will hold it because the stand weight was built into the weight of the display.

I'd like to use a Mac Cinema Display as my plasma TV, do you think it is worth? Does it work as any other plasma TV or do I need to find another device that lets me use it as TV? Like EyeCat maybe...?

@ManuelRochaCR It's really not worth it. Put the $1,000 you'll spend on the Cinema Display and get a 1080p 46" Panasonic or Sony.

hey again. ummm...... do you know if the new apple tv works on the LED cinema display?
alexxjones1 1 year ago
@alexxjones1 No it doesn't. The apple tv had an hdmi out and this only accepts mini displayport. You maybe be able to find an adapter
