All you people mentioning seeing him back in the 90's and stuff, all the respect, is as touching to me as the song, which for me is the first time ever hearing it, and Warren's story. We all watched this video at different times, in different places, but even now so many years later, we have all shared this moment together.

Agreed, makes you misty. I first saw/heard Zevon through his first appearance on Letterman, and this was his last... Sad kinda closure, but thanx for the post.

7:00 when he signs "grab your coat, lets get out of here" almost speaking that line it's coming right from the heart. Very touching.

Warren Zevon singing 'Mutineer' must rank as one of the MOST moving moments on YouTube. Never fails to ge me emotional.
I thank God I was there to record his last show on videotape, to ultimately get it onto YouTube for generations to see. I was also very lucky to see Warren in Belfast in the mid 90s, will never forget that night..
RIP Warren, we love you still, your music is never off my ipod.
