  • Folding the fabric is only necessary if it's extremely thin. You're correct in saying that folding and stapling is a PAIN, especially if you have a nice stripe you're trying to keep straight!

  • The piping is attached with a hot glue gun. There are various other methods, but this happens to be the most efficient.

  • I agree.. how did you attach the piping?!!?!?

  • @hollymrhodes With a hot glue gun, which works perfectly with most fabrics.

  • I tought it was nessecary to fold the fabric before stapeling it. Otherwise it rips when you sit on it, or not? I'm working on 6 baroque dining chairs this moment and it is a hell of a job when you have to pull the fabric AND fold it in at the same time! x

  • How do you make the piping with that fabric?

  • How did you make the piping and attach it? Is it easier to attach with metal studs? Thanks for an excellent video!

  • I got these chairs that look just like yours and your video has been great in showing me what to do, but the back and the seat cushion was SO old that I am replacing that too. The back had like a press board, what do I use for that and for the seat cusion, do I just get foam and cut it to size?

thanks so much for the video

  • Wow!

I doubt I can do as well as you have though...

    come do these HAHA :)

  • wait...how did you attach the piping?
