Look at that owl go, Old-Timey Style! Very amusing :D What's the musical number it's set to?

Ah yes, that rarest and most endangered of owls, the redoubtable and reclusive Doyle (Otus Furtivus). Denizen of both basement and attic, this odd bird has a penchant for smoke-filled evenings, smoke-filled mornings, and, apparently, ragtime.

Holy cow. That's the video they played my freshman year at the last Hum 110 lecture! Right afterward, the Doyle Owl ran through Vollum (in a wheelbarrow), and people went chasing it out the door. Good times.

This owl is obviously counterfeit-- the real Doyle owl is WHITE-- where are you keeping the real one? And who is this ugly grey impostor? I do like the four Gods though-- very Reedistic..

Wow, I couldn't have anticipated seeing the Owl again...on youtube! Quite a SE Portland adventure. And who knew that Rob Brightman had such a sense of humor. Thanks, makers. --a member of the class of '90
so this is the cheezy s*& the thief ezra goldman did with the owl?
ah, where is olde reed, when the owl was dangled outside the hum window via a crane? when it was rushed past helpless crowds on a motorized couch? when public showings actually involved risk and the acquirers of the bird were not cretinous?

we did photograph it in eliot circle, in front of the chapel, the paradox cafe, under sally port and in the middle of the library and managed to still walk out without the slightest of scuffles. I won't tell you how we managed it but people were on campus... i'm not sure how making a video using the owl and involving professors constitutes "cretinous" behavior or "theft".
