Luna - Red Border Collie

Luna's back! As you can see, she has grown a whole lot! Some of these pictures and videos are taken on my digi cam and some on my phone (so sorry for the bad quality). She's about a year, more or less, in these shots. As you can see, she loves her pink frisbee (which we unfortunately had to chuck because it was getting ruined) I've noticed her coat is a much lighter and thinner coat than many BCs (there's rough + smooth coated border collies.. her mother was smooth and her pops was rough so it was a guessing game as to what she'd turn out to be) and she's got a bit of waves =) Well anywho, enjoy!

well honestly, there really is no difference. People just have different preferences as to what they may call them. I find 'red' to be the most 'official'. The lighter colour would be the lilac or lemon. They are basically diluted versions of the red border collie, just as the 'blue' or 'grey' is a diluted version of the original black/white BCs. They are beautiful, but extremely rare and require a lot of knowledge on genes in order to breed them well. Hope that helped =)
