  • This is surtainly not a full-blood Frisian horse, it has got one white foot. And they should be black all over! White marks are not permitted.

  • hes white hoof isnt a breed fault its a beauty mark:P, god made all animals perfect:) xxx

  • Friesians used to come in many colors. Out crossing almost destroyed the breed. At one point only one approved Friesian stallion remained,. As I understand it, all Friesians alive to today trace back to this one stallion. A Friesian with more white than a small patch on the forehead can not be registered with the FPS. Any Friesian with any color anywhere other than black can't be used for breeding via the FPS. This does not mean they are not pruebred.

  • @Chladaska that makes no sense what so ever

  • Apollo has white on his hoof and he is a stallion

Are you saying he's a mare! He's a stallion, unless he's changed from last time everyone checked!!!!!!

  • This is for Sigje14

Apollo is a pure bred modern friesian (they are able to have white on them)

Only Classic Freisians are ALWAYS pure black

Luv this video! I went and saw the show it was AMAZING!!!!

  • @Sigje14 Any horse can have white markings, it's not at all common but not unheard of, my friend has a pure blood Fjord with a large white star who got sold as they wouldn't breed from him as they must have no white, same as you can get steele grey lippizaners, welsh cobs can't be coloured but you can get the rare blagdon markings that make them seem coloured, it can be a gene mutation or a skip or just a lucky colour defect, makes them look nicer i think

  • Sorry guys but that looks like a boot, yes some show up dark brown but it is not desired, were is the feathering on the hoof that all fresians have?? It does look like a boot on hid foot but im still curriouse to the feahtering! Sorry if o got some spelling errors :p

  • @Sigje14 For your information that fresian with the white foot is renees main and best horse!!! White foot or not he is still a fresian

  • @Sigje14 white mark only at mares and only is allowed little white star in head, stallions cannot have any white mark

  • @Sigje14 thats a load of bull! i've seen red colored full blooded friesians with papers and a bunch of full blooded freisians with white markings whom also had papers. what kind of breed rejects horses with white markings or horses that dont come out all black? what kind of "breed" is this?!?

    btw its spelled "certainly"
