This is an 'OVERVIEW' introduction; meant to show features - not really a tutorial... but a good 'overview' IMHO.

@deafdeadfishfloating It is brief. Only so much you can do in <10 min. Thats why I had to look around for other ways to bring this info to my users that wasnt so limiting.

Sorry tatau1234 I accidently deleted your comment: "omron is much2 better"
First I would ask what else have you programmed? Omron is not nearly as easy to program (in my experience) as the AB's. they do have some interesting fuzzy logic stuff - but I have not tried that option.

ouch that looks very cartoony compared to cx-programmer from omron.

I am not familiar with cx-programmer from omron. I am familiar with omron. Unless they have made major changes, I can program any AB in half the time and teach someone to program the AB in half the time. The only place I ever see Omrons in the US are on machines where the client did not specifiy a PLC type. I guess you might say I'm not a big fan...

well i think i accidently deleted your comment - sorry. Between manufacturers, ladder does not equal ladder. Each manufacturer is very different. The capability of the processor and how the programming software interfaces with the user is huge on development time. Also the available useful instructions are important. It's been a long time since I have seen Grafcet. Its basically a form of SFC which most new PLC's have as a programming option.
