Hello, the OHLE is made by Viessmann, and is available from ONtracks, and Modelbahm Kramm in Germany. regards

are u gonna make your OHLE Live at some point so ur intercity 86 i think is is can be make so its powered by them instead of just track power As you can get some where the pantograpth is the source of + and the track -

Hi there; you cannot use live OHLE with DCC. Thanks for the info, and the other complication is when you have hidden sections with OHLE live, you need to run the wires all the way around the layout. Also, by the way, since Hornby went to the 5 pole ringfield motors, overhead current collection is not enabled. There is an 'add-on' label added to the box stating such. regards Nick

Hello there, look, I always recommend Hornby. Buy a train set which comes with a trak mat and this will get you started, by simply adding to a piece of flat thick chipboard. Good Luck!

Hi, I do not use track underlay; it only has a life of about 6 years and then 'decomposes'. Recommend you either use cork, or pin directly to baseboard (which is what I do) regards
