Pono and Ohi, once part of the bachelor gang in the Hollywood Herd, then captured, gelded and purchased, traveled all the way from Florida to be released at the Born to be Wild Sanctuary for displaced and homeless mustangs. The music track is "Let 'em Run" by Lacy J. Dalton & Friends.

  • Well - I'm sorry to tell you that we didn't geld them. The BLM did. So send your nasty remarks to them.

  • Who is the artist on the recording?

    liloldladyindy

  • The artist is Lacy J. Dalton from her album Wild Horse Crossing. She has a foundation called "Let 'Em Run" in Virginia City, Nevada. She sells her cds from her website. Great Stuff - A Great Artist!

  • Wonderful! It brought tears to my eyes - a check will be in the mail. Keep up your good work.

  • @ horselvr22 You need to do some research and look at this from an objective standpoint, not an emotional one. If these horses weren't gelded, the sanctuary would get over populated and would be unable to rescue any more horses. Not to mention the overpopulation problem in the wild herds, seriously, do your research before flying off the handle...

  • I was very pleased to see this video, i wondered what ever happened to those 2 horses, first I heard someone in Florida adopted them when they were first captured, then I saw in one of your newsletters that you ended up with them. I hope they are still OK now that they are back out on their own. I try to help your organization when I can. Keep up the good work!
