good work with that fish whats his diet i just got me one about a week ago and he's a baby i feed him bloodworms and chilid pellets at the same time and i feed him brine shrimp once a week

I bought a jack dempsey from petco... it turned out to be a green terror once it grew more and started developing its colors...

He is gorgeous! I saw some just yesterday and was amazed at the coloration of the juvies, tho none at the red coloring on the tailfin, but did have a lot of speckles.. The body at immature age reminds me of apistogramma's. But I hear these guys get pretty large. I love SA/CA cichlids.. and your little one has become a fav of mine! :-) Are they as aggressive as everyone says?

They aren't as aggressive as some cichlid species, but they are supposed to be pretty mean. This one ignores the other fish in the tank though, but they aren't cichlids.
There are several more recent videos of him if you haven't seen them.
