  • this is the illest shit you'll ever see or hear of in your entire lifetyme.

  • yah id have to say as awesome as dub war was, skindred has definitely taken it to a whole new level. i know alot of gangsta kids and metal heads alike that have all come together in enjoying skindred i dont think i know of many other bands that can do that.

  • @Trillionphoenix True. Skindred are OK... But... they ain't Dub War

  • Dub War>Skindred, i'm sorry, but Skindred sounds too derivative of Korn/Slipknot.

  • Dub War was good. Much of it still holds up even today. But the War is over, and they lost. Yes, I know Skindred is not Dub War, but the way I see it.... It's more. You have to applaud music that evolves as the musicians age, grow, etc. Skindred has managed this, and I applaud them for it. If the sound never changed, Benji wouldn't have a band. Ultimately, I thoroughly enjoy them both.

  • love you guy's and i have the dvd

  • This is sick

  • good old benji and the boys. excellent stuff.

  • It's funny but I would say the same but the other way round, I can put Dub War on it the background while Skindred pick me up and drag me around by the crotch and I'm no kid. I obviously grew up around and therefore have a better understanding of the genres that influenced Skindred over Dub War. I never imagined when I first picked up Babylon that I could possibly love it more than WSoB; it just goes to show that neither of us can ever truly understand the genius of the almighty Mr Webbe

  • Dub War > Skindred. Not to say Skindred are bad or anything, but they seem incredibly dumbed down, like Benji is trying hard to appeal to the kids.

Skindred's demos were better than their records IMO. they were hard. 'Babylon' was a massive compromise. R.R.R was heavier, but like the debut, it was a mixed bag imo.

  • @joestaff621 i know the whole record label deal. sucks pretty much. it's a shame that the band dissolved. record labels can be a bitch pretty much all the time. in my country at least, a band like dub war would've never gotten out of clubs and saturday night shindigs. thank god the world heard of their music
