One might need to "learn" to appreciate her voice, it has taken myself some time as well, but I am absolutely in love with he music.

she comes to my town frequently, and i've seen her live for the past two years in a row. she is so amazing, the most recent time, i spoke to her and asked for her to sign my ticket, and she was so nice about it!

When I first heard one of Anais' albums, I thought the songwriting was great, but her voice let it down. A year later, I think I was wrong, and that her voice, unusual as it is, is fantastic, expressive, and beguiling. Funny old world!
