Point of impact with the ball AR is perfectly in line with the second last opponent.If you freeze it at 42 sec pay real close attention to the player who is signalled offside.His upper part of the body is in front of the 2nd last opponent.Law 11 defines offside as "Nearer to his opponents' goal line" means that any part of a player's head, body or feet is nearer to his opponents' goal line than both the ball and the 2nd last opponent. Arms are not included. Upper body is in front. Well done AR!

The ref doesnt signal a foul he signals an offence. If a player is in an offside position the ball doesn't need to be passed to him to still be offside. Play is only stopped if the ref thinks the player in the offside position can benefit from being there, regardless of whether he is the intended recipient of the pass. So while there was a player in the ossfide position it was up to the ref whether play was stopped. If the teams were reversed you'd all be thanking the ref for a good decision.

Offsides is only when you are ahead of the defenders WHEN the ball is passed to you. Here clearly, the ball was lobbed while the dude was still behind everyone else. See, this is why refs from Africa aren't allowed in premiere leagues.
