The 2001 Miami Hurricanes may be the best College football team ever, Only one team that year didn't get blown out by Miami, that was #12 Virginia Tech. Game after game, ranked team after team, Miami knocked everybody out. Many FSU, Syracuse, Pittsburgh and other fans said they could beat this team. They ended up getting run over. Miami's most impressive victory that year was a 65-7 win over a very good #12 Washington team. The 2001 Nebraska Cornhuskers were looking pretty good, until a rebuilding Kansas State squad lost to them by just ten points. Then the very next week, #14 Colorado put up 62 points against them. So could Nebraska recover, led by Heisman Trophyy winner Eric Crouch and pull off this upset? Or will Miami led by Kenny Dorsey win as expected in the Rose Bowl.

  • Huge error: Miami didn't blow out Boston College that year either. BC was in position for the winning touchdown in the final minutes before a fluke interception.

  • do you have the Ohio/Miami game from next season? I wanna watch Willis McGahee blow out his knee again.

  • This game was just a mere representation of NFL talent vs. College talent

  • proud to be a Cane! baby and no not a fan but a STUDENT!!! HAHA!

  • The crazy thing about this team is, the fullback on this team who blocked for Clinton Portis, Willis McGhaee, went on to take Portis' place the following year and ended up finishing fourth in the Heisman voting. That's how deep this team was.

Also, check Jonathan Vilma's wicked hit on the NU tight end late in the game. One of the greatest hits that I have ever seen in College Football.
