This isn't a perfect WWI movie. It's still a pretty good popcorn movie. Worth the watch.

@AustralianFalcon The WW1 zeppelins and their descendants the Hindenberg and the Graf Zeppelin were built of aluminum girders with fabric covering and gas cells inside. Their average size was 600-700 feet with the Hindenberg being the largest at 820 feet in overall length. I like your choice of music as I am a Nightwish fan.

Not the exact same sorts of blimps, no. The authentic blimps of the period weren't fashioned from fabric and steel like the full-size props in the movie; back during the war, the blimps were sewn-together stretches of whale-skin leather, supported on the interior by strong, sturdy redwood trunks, harvested from south Germany's Black Forest. Additionally, the real things were substantially larger; over four times the size. Due to monetary constraints, the movie built smaller.
