  • Hey Rob... I just acquired a lot of 13 Intellivision game cartridges for $11.00... Amusingly, I don't yet own a console!

  • @Ogma01 Heh that is cool, I would often acquire games before getting the console, gives me incentive to get the console eventually lol!

  • I just resantly saw an Intellivision III.

    The damn thing was HUGE!!

  • Wait....the Intellivision III was proposed but never produced, do you mean the orignal Intellivision (which was MUCH bigger than mine) or am I missing something?

  • Ah yes all clear now. You see the real proposed INTV III was never released, THIS is actually a realease several years later and though it was labelled INTVIII it truly is nothing much more than a original Intellivision just re-released...........

  • Hell yeah man $10 plus shipping is a way good deal for the Intellivision 2. The power adapters have become pretty rare for those. I have had many Intellivisions over the years. Right now I have an Intellivison 1 2909 model. But I would like to get another one because one controller is out on it. I had another one but I can not find it lol. It was in my shed or my parents shed and now it is gone I guess. He-man is a good game man. I get to like the 6th level most of the time. Cool video.

  • Yeah I was definitely happy with the deal. Sometimes I don't plan getting certain consoles before others on my list but I can't pass up a sweet deal on a system I need. He Man came with it so it's the only game I have (for now lol!) haven't played much but should be fun. Anyway Sinister thanks for chimming in! I been going through your vids, great stuff, I always love meeting someone who like me, can love a Draemcast Shooter but still love an old Atari 2600 game!

  • Best console of it's time. Beats the crap out Atari except for the Coleco games. This console with the ability to switch out the controllers gets rid of Intellivision's only drawback, the controller. Well worth the purchase. The games feel how they're supposed to and I like how the games are more balanced and playable. Games like astrosmash really put the Atari to shame. And I love my Atari but the Intellivision II is just a better console.

  • @MaximumRD I do that too, but I hate it, I wana play the games but I cant...it just gets at me.

  • The Power Supply was not a standard power supply, it used a non standard voltage that you can't get at Radio Shack or any other electronic parts store.

  • @MaximumRD I wish the Intellivision III was released...it would have been awesome...cool video man

  • Now adays you should be fine on either channel as all terrestrial channels have left the SD-sphere.

  • Correct the proposed INTV 3 was to put it more on par with Coleco vision and the Atari 7800, but the actual INTV 3 we got was just rebadged original consoles when the INTV 2 quanity ran out.

  • Another great video; thanks for this!! I've heard that the dial/pad on the Intellivision II isn't as responsive as the one on the original Intellivision.

It seems odd that you can't, for example, turn the dial to move your ship in a game like Astro Blast, instead of having to press on the pad.
