the musicianship is amazing...i just wish sound engineers had put some perspex baffling around mr chamber's drumkit..there's so much volume from his kit it's bleeding threw everything or at least turn zakir's tabla's...so they match there's some balance to the mix.

3 grandmasters together, wow. zakir and john together is always magic. there will always be people who dont get this but never mind them, their loss. these people who were there were blessed to witness this. i saw john in belgrade couple of years ago, and i still shiver ocassionaly :-)

I first ran across this guy when he was playing with Miles Davis in the late '60's, been a fan ever since...Wow!
I guarantee that all the guitarists in the audience didn't go to the concession stand during this set!

Legendary ! John McLaughlin was put on this earth to inspire every other guitar player on the planet. Look at him ... How old is John McLaughlin now ? in his late 60's ???!! I agree with Joe Szilagy .. ask ANY 'metal monster' guitar playig sweep picking guru to play like Johny Mc. WITHOUT all that distortion to cover up their mistakes. Very few people who can touch this guy or even come close to him.- DiMeola , DeLucia - pretty much the only 'worthy' ... Nicely done Johny Mc.
