I took a solo roadtrip along the Neches River in East Texas between Woodville and Jasper, Texas. It seemed so lonely and isolated, and I immediately thought of "500 Miles (Away From Home)." If you don't like scenery, enjoy the music. I really did enjoy my trip!

Oh, I LOVED my solo trip. I was by myself, enjoying the scenery. It just SEEMED a lonely sort of trip, hence the song. The Neches is very beautiful.

Yes, I live in East Texas myself. It just seemed to be the perfect song for the video! That is what it felt like driving around taking the pics! LOL!
