This is my 2009 KLX 250s. Much louder in person.
Mods: FMF Powerbomb header, Two Brothers exhaust, Dynojet carb kit. I would have the big bore done, but that leaves me with thin cylinder walls, and I don't want that.

  • do u need any permit in Canada ?

  • @antho836 depends on where you're riding. the trans-canada trail requires liability insuance, and most insurance companies won't cover the bike without it being registered, plated and inspected.

  • What's up dude, I've got 09' klx250s and I just bought the power bomb. I'll wait to install it with a muffler after I get enough money. I was going to get the Q4, but I really like the sound of your bike with 2brothers... Is your exhaust still legal for the State Forest emissions? Thanks.

  • @defoliatedMYmaple

I am unsure, as I live in Canada.

This particular exhaust is the M7 V.A.L.E. Slip-on. The site says it comes with a spark arrestor screen, which it does, and says it is US Forestry Service approved. I don't know if this will help you or not, but I hope it does.

  • i am considering about buying one of these. would you recomend it ? or no? let me no as soon as you can thanks man

  • @tugforge

yes, i would more than recommend it. amazing bike, no problems with mine, really. just get a new header and exhaust, and rejet the carb. otherwise it feels underpowered and sluggish. i have no regrets with my purchase.

I live in Canada and I got top speed of 157kph so like 102-105 mph

  • @thedude808 What about fuel economy after those mods? How many miles do you get on a fill up before you hit reserve now? I'm wanting to do the pipe and jet kit, but don't want to lose any more miles between fill ups than I have now... Thanks for your thoughts on this.

  • A tough long lasting bike desighned to double as a commuter. I think this explains sluggishness...... fuel ecomomy for commuting was taken into consideration with the carby design.

  • i am the walrus i am the walrus, dude, i am the walrus...
