I fully agree. When I think of the the 3 tenors I do think of that first concert. The rest doesn't interest me, and they did became carricatures of themselves...trying to recreate the chemistry over and over again. To be clear: I love having fun with classical music and being all serious is not what I'm looking for. Goof off, why not. But in this clip I was disappointed with the wannabe factor. Be original.

@hecate235 If you know the meaning of that song, if you know the tradition of that song you would understand my point. Its like me singing God Bless America changing notes just cause I want to have fun. They were, I am not.
This type of song has history,it was first a poem, also became national anthem. Its about the Neapolitan roots.
Music isnt just notes, you must treat it with respect it deserves, its a universal language... not some Madonna Give me all your love type song.

@RonaldBarone Are you implying that only Italians can appreciate and critique music? 'Cause if you are, boy, are you in trouble.... Or is it just this song?
Music should fill our lives with beauty, joy, passion and wonder. These tenors were having fun (joy), I recommend it.
