Perry Mears on Piano

(please excuse the loud ambulance siren in the background. This was recorded in a church in Washington, DC, and unfortunately, there were a lot of fire engines driving by that day.)

  • You have a wonderful instrument -- and so young.. wow.

  • omg this is amazing how old are you i am also a soprano but im only 17

  • ...Es como el canto de un angel... es indescriptible...

  • I am looking for this piece all around:)

if someone have this notes please tell me..

    by the way lovely voice:)

  • beautiful voice and performance! I'm thinking of working on this piece this year (I'm a a college sophomore) and I'm glad I was able to find such an exceptional performance of it.

  • How could I forget to add it to my favorites ? Your voice is quite large and impressive in this piece. The only weak point : the pronunciation. I advised you to listen to Alagna, but rather listen to Regine Crespin, as she's a soprano, and who infortunately died in early july. I'll try to seek the score of "Ombra di nube" for you. It's neither in the Recordi nor in the Sanzogno catalog. Who may have published this ? Anyway, I'll get it and you'll sing it in your fall recital :)

  • Very emotionnal and thanks for this another tribute to french repertoire. But don't forget that in the french lieder and the french opera in general, the articulation is primordial and that every word has to be understood. Alagna's phrasing is an example to follow as regards that point.

  • Your videos are amazing .... I've watched them all .. I am staring my junior year of Music ed and I needed Vocal rep ideas .. thanks so much keep up the great work

  • By junior recital do you mean it was your first?

How long have you been studying?
