Speed doesn't kill any more than a gun does. Careless drivers (and careless gun owners) do. I find it interesting that mile for mile that the Autobahn is the safest highway in the world.

@chompmyclit:True speed is merely a factor, but I needed a catchy title. Funny thing about the Autobahn.When my husband was gleefully whizzing his motorbike on it he got forced off it by a driver who was careless.Turned out to be his fellow American.

@AuroraKismet thus one could come to the conclusion that AVERAGE American Drivers cannot handle speeds above 80mph as well as the AVERAGE German Driver :) We grow up with greater driving skills :P
