The U.S. government is, quite frankly, outrageous. They condemn North Korea for it's attack on a South Korean warship and demand Iraq to put a halt in it's pursuit in nuclear power, meanwhile, the U.S. government with business have toxified the waters with oil in the Gulf Of Mexico all the while obeying Israel.
Yes, I was expecting you to say that. I have read from many translations of the quran on this issue, and others, and frankly the meaning is clear: Muslims do not have to abide to agreements with non Muslims. That is the bottom line here, and Hamas echoes that sentiment in their covenant. So, either you are wrong, or Hamas, and the world community of islam, is wrong. Which do you suppose is more likely? Where will we find the true islam? I think we find it in the blood soaked streets.
Justice, hamas always breaks its cease fires. You and i see different news sources. I see news sources from teh region, by the way, and i remember how began firing on who. Hamas makes its living be starting fights that it can not end.
Quran chapter 9 verses 11, and 12 we find that it is only a requirement to honor agreements with people if they have converted to islam. Interesting. 11) But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know.12) And if they break their oaths after their agreement and (openly) revile your religion, then fight the leaders of unbelief-- surely their oaths are nothing-- so that they may desist.
And since you claim that Quran teaches breaks the treaties, here is what Quran teaches about treachery:
Quran(4:105 and 4:107)
Surely We have revealed the Book to you with the truth that you may judge between people by means of that which Allah has taught you; and be not an advocate on behalf of the treacherous. (105)
And do not plead on behalf of those who act unfaithfully to their souls; surely Allah does not love him who is treacherous, sinful; (107)
Hamas has always honored its agreement, and it has always been Israel that broke the cease fire every time. You just rely too much on fox news, and that is why you have distorted information about Hamas and about Islam.
Islam's Prophet, Muhammed, states: "Fulfill the trust, and don't betray whoever betrays you"
You're right, Hamas wouldn't accept the existence of Israel for free. The Russian, European, Jews, and those who came from allover the world, expelled them from their homes can't be recognized without a Just solution for the 4.25 million Palestinians refugees.
However, Hamas Rockets are not aiming at defeating Israel. They basically send a message that Palestinians are still alive. Despite the hunger, they still have dignity, and they will not give up. It is their right of resistance.
