Doug, sweet tutorial, thank you for the breakdown! Love the Charvel Star replica, and totally agree with NOT using the Danolectro neck. I'm a huge Eddie fan, but don't know what the fck he was thinking putting that eyesore on such a sweet guitar. Looking forward to more tutorials brother!

@bobbydgo I think there's about 8 hours of my VH vids on here..Someone told me he used the danelectro neck because it was a shorter scale neck.

@DougFCKNSteele Aaaah... Well, upon second thought I guess that makes sense. Eddie was def not afraid to sacrifice aesthetics for the sake of playability and tone. Shit, just look at the Frankenstien guitars.
I'm def gonna check out your other tutorials (I'm also also a HUGE George Lynch fan). I played back in the day but (stupidly) walked away from it over 15 yrs ago. Recently back into it and starting a new band, and you videos are huge in helping me learn (or relearn) material brother.

@bobbydgo Killer. yeah, EVH, Lynch, Gilbert and Becker are my fab 4. I do have some Lynch vids, just a few, I'll do some down the track for sure, as I've totally ripped off his vibrato. Lol.
