Looks like a lot like a coypu, a very common invasive species of rodent, more commonly known in the US as nutria. Their pelts are used for cheap fur lining in jackets and such. If you ever had a cheap jacket that had fur lining that was not synthetic but you couldn't tell what type of fur it was, it was probably coypu. I've killed quite a few of these bastards, they can defoliate a wetland in record time.
