Generally speakingHigh torque comes with having a high horsepower engine, the more horsepower you have the more... Well power you have and the engine uses this to generate a turning force upon the wheels or torque, in my understanding 4wd's like this use deisel engines because they produce a lot of torque at lower rev ranges to increase towing capacity, simple as that haha

@nkyher No dude... It'll go faster with a petrol engine... Torque is for towing stuff... It has few influence on speed...

@Sorayan13 no, its diesel because the car is heavy and needs lots of torque. Remember torque is power and HP is how fast you go . They are slightly different.
