Hack: Increase the brightness of N82's screen.

In this video, I'll be showing you how to increase the brightness of your Nokia N82's screen.

1) Download and install hellocarbide from HERE: http://fca00000.googlepages.com/HelloCarbide.sisx
DO NOT OPEN IT YET.
2) Open Y-Browser and send it into the background by hitting the menu button.
3) Open HelloCarbide, press options and then select menu1... When the pop-up message appears just press yes.
4) Open Y browser again.
5)Copy the 102000c8c.txt file from where you've saved it to C:\Private\10202be9\.
6)Check if there's a 102000c8b.cre file in C:\Private\10202be9\Persists\, if there is one, delete it.
7)Restart your phone.

There's no need to use this on the N95, it's already got a good level of brightness.

If you do try it, it will only result in your screen becoming dimmer (atleast on the N95 8GB).

This was made only for the N82.

you should hack your phone with 5$ (3.85euro) with helloox2 from official site and to have access in the C: you should use y-browser! it is tested by me to my 2 nokia n82

it worked perfect. But i make a donation and I download the original singed version of helloox2 from official site and I use y-browser and I did it. My 2 n82's brightness is great. The 3rd had already full brighness settings when I bough it before 3 years! But now if you turn the brightness from maximum to minimum and opposite theres no difference on the brightness but I dont care!

You need to hack your phone then copu the fail to c/private/10202be9

and rebout your phone

since your post is 7 months old, I thought I'd ask, did you ever run into any problems with this? no dead pixels or anything right? are you still using the n82?
