Kumari . S. Annapurna, is an Upcoming & Promising Bharatanatyam Artist from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. She had performed her Arangetram on 26th November 2006 under the judgement of Natyaratna Guru Jayarama Rao, a Kuchipudi Exponent and Padmashree Awardee.

Kumari S.Annapurna has been learning the divine art of Bharatanatyam since the age of 5 years. She staged her first performance in the year 2004 at All India Dance Competition held at Shimla (HP). Subsequently she participated in many competitions at Guntur, Cuttack, Hyderabad, Pune & Raipur and won many prizes.

Kumari Annapurna is a student of Delhi Public School. She learns Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi under the able guidance of Shri.G.Ratheesh Babu - who has performances to his credit all over India and abroad & runs the Dance School NRITHYATHI KALAKSHETRAM in Bhilai. She has interests in swimming, Lawn Tennis and painting. She is learning Carnatic Vocal from Shri.Jayadas Babu, a renowned music teacher of Kairagarh University of Chhattisagarh.
