Kings Island Halloween Haunt 10/22/2010 Part 1 of 4

Wall of Monsters - the place goes crazy on Friday nights when Monsters from some of the outdoor mazes comes up front to attempt to keep visitors out of the park. Beware of the creepers - men in white suits that slide after visitors....there is also the Wizard Lizard...he will post for pictures and give autographs but at what cost??? Watch out for Roamers as well - they wander the park looking for prey and then we have the Overlord who over sees his various minions. Not for the faint of heart nor is it for children under 13 years of age. If you love to wander into dangerous places then Halloween Haunt is perfect for you....if you are scared of the dark then maybe you should stay home.....If you touch or harm any of the scareactors in the park you will be ejected from the park and likely banned for one to five years.

Please go with the flow of haunt. Do not try to SCARE them because for one thing it can get you kicked out of the park. DO NOT TOUCH them as that can also get you kicked out and I am more than happy to catch it on video and help them kick people out. There is no reason to touch or abuse anyone. Go with the idea of getting scared and having fun. That is the entire theme of this entire thing. I do know a lot of them and they are ALL WONDERFUL people!!

Scare actors are also allowed and are more than happy to pose for pictures. If you know anyone that is easy to scare let them know and point that person out to them. WOW they LOVE that!!! Those people are there because they want to have a good time and they love scaring people. Working at Kings Island during haunt is a lot of fun for all of them. They are regular people that just happen to know how to have a good time in a good way.

It all started out with one scare actor not being afraid to scare a woman in a wheelchair. He had such a great time scaring me one night that he actually told me he was sorry at the end of the night but I was so much fun. When he found out I loved it too he spread the word that I was a good scare. The scare actors will meet in the dressing rooms before and after talking about their best scares. That is how you get to know them. TALK TO THEM...they are allowed to speak to guests.

Nintega all you have to do is be good to them. That is it. I go with the flow of what haunt should be. I treat all scareactors with respect, scream and laugh my butt off when they get me and let them know they are doing a fantastic job. If someone gets a good scare on me I let them know it. It is that simple. If you ever see me at the park feel free to join us and just have fun!!

I went to slaughter house almost every single night of haunt and LOVED IT!!! It was the scariest of 2011. My favorites are Tombstone TerrorTory, Holiday Horror and Slaughter House!!!
