Radiohead is still around and they are awesome. There's also Mew and Sigur Ros among others. There's good music out there, it's jsut harder to find. And I kind of like Mumford and Sons.

There also were great bands way before the 1990s, Everyone jsut thinks the decade they grew up in is the best (Not me I prefer the 1960s). Oh and I might get flank for this, but I HATE Nirvana.
