Beautiful song. Can't believe people dislike this :S even if your not a Christian respect other people who are :) everyone should have their beliefs respected and if you don't like a song click to something else. Came back from Church today and was irratated that at all the Church's I've been to they don't play old hyms so I went on youtube and found this so I could sing along (:

I still get teary eyes listening to this song. I remember my granduncle who's a pastor at a local church in our province, this is his favorite song and he cries whenever he sings this. His in his late 80's now and still active in church activities.

Has no one responded? OK please do not confuse being saved with: 1-Growing in the Lord, and/or 2-Saying magic words. IF you truly and honestly confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord, the One who died to pay the death penalty your sins earned you, AND IF you honestly, sincerely believe (as best you can) Jesus was raised from the dead you will be saved. How? Repent of (turn from) the old life & call upon Him in prayer. You are saved! BUT just saying words UR still lost! Which was it?
