  • I've always this album was a masterpiece. More people should know this one - it's sumptuous, and Sarah's melodic embellishments, colourisations, stresses and variations are to be relished and cherished!

  • This song was played @ Teena Marie's memorial this past Monday, and it was very befitting and it still resounds in my head. This is a masterpiece. Sarah Vaughn was Teena's all time favorite singer EVER! May they both make beautiful music together in the Heavens. May they both R.I.P.

  • The most beautiful song ever written? Quite possibly.

Andy Bey's version of River Man by Nick Drake is up there too.

  • God, what is this?? This must be from another world!! This cannot be human. Here, Sarah Vaughan surpasses everything and everyone else. She's just absolute!!!

Not to mention the fabulous arrangement.

Thank you so much for this!!!

  • i own the original album when it was first released as well as copies on later released c.d.'s. it is the most beautiful music i ever heard. it tells a story. when i knew this album was coming out, i was going to italy. i looked for it there. i eventually got it through a jazz d.j. here is the u.s. he knew someone that had a few copie. it was hard to get. i will always treasure it.

  • Beautiful.

  • A wind stirs in the trees, likre voices in dreams, and then, just when it seems, we know what it means, suddenly it's gone The miracle is the mind asking the questions seeking to find itself, if it can, only to see itslef endlessly echoed in mirrors- the mystery of man
