Many people build rockets purely with the intention of getting higher and faster, they go straight up until they run out of fuel. As it turns out, this is not always the best way to go highest and fastest.

  • @Procaines if you don't enable SAS it'll keep spinning after you release the key.

  • SAS anyone? Spinning around like a mean m*****... :D

  • @itotalfail I spin the rocket for stability, SAS units add mass which will lower your final velocity.

  • A little hiccup there.. The square root of 2 is 1.41, not 1.14.

  • i was soo mad i got in orbit of the mun then i smashed into it! :(

  • the sun can be orbited if you launch straight up at escape velocity you''ll end up stuck in orbit around the sun
