Well you are partly right.But the main man at that time was Baba Legba.He had perfected his music and he was able to choose who he played for.With unbeleiveable amount of material.There was a slight jealousy directed at him.If i remember correctly in Abeokuta,Mushin or Lagos if both Yusuf and Haruna Ishola were playing in the same area.Yusuf always had the upper hand.

Wow nice,very nice you have depth regarding Yoruba music.I was not expecting this.You are just out by a few years.Ilori had made or given his best judgements before 1970.You can ask anyone who knew Late Alake of Egbaland Lipede.
