2010 Fan Expo Canada Rant

How my time went at the Canadian Fan Expo of 2010 on Aug. 28th.

Got to do a few things i wanted before being pushed out the door do to an "Over-Crowded" Convenstion Hall.

So in the end my day was cut short and i was pretty Pissed.

Sorry for your luck. Fan Expo has two very disappointing rules: Even going to the bathroom will likely cost you $50 so bring lots of money, and if you leave the building make sure you don't want to come back. Me and my friends always bring extra cash for the food in the con and granola bars for our pockets.

@EtherSkunk Ya i know. But unfortunatly who ever was running it thought it would be a good idea to have 1 Pizza Pizza stand in there and nothing else.

i agree with everything but you should have known they charge for autograph it is mention in a lot of places and in forums and such

Ya i said i shoulda known. It's just that even when we were waiting an Hour and a Half before in line, Nobody came around saying it would cost that much, nor was there any information about it up at the front of the line, plus a staff memeber was telling people it was free as long as we would wait. So it was just alot of randomness

The Expo was a mess for organization but I managed to luck out the entire day. I was the 4th person to get onto the floor from the main entrance.

I knew of the side entrance in the underground section of floor 2 that was for re-entry only. I left around 11:30, came back at 2 and walked straight into the building by flashing my wristband to the security guard manning the door.

Instant access, no lines. There were ~1000 people who had wristbands on Front St. waiting to get in when that happened.

@VReign ya the back door behind the south building was open and when i told the guy there he said dont worry about it people were coming in through back entrances
