I was working on this game engine using Box2D and had implemented an orientation correction routine to make the player always try to stand upright. I then set his density to nearly zero to see what would happen. This is the result...

The player character is the outlined white box, because I haven't implemented any form of graphics yet. When I'm pressing buttons you can see a black/red line extend out from the box (indicating the walk force vector) - notice how rarely this actually appears! (The line extending downward is unrelated.) Most of this insanity is just physics and the results of applying a force 200 times the character's weight to his bottom.
