  • Fulton Burley was a master entertainer and one of the funniest persons I've ever met. As a comedian, he was an inspiration and even today there is still a little Fulton Burley in my mannerism on stage.

You know when someone greets you with "how are you doing"

and the usual response is "fine, good or keeping busy.

Not Fulton, he would always respond with "SENSATIONAL"

  • Fulton was my uncle, my dad's little brother. I am so happy to see this video to keep his memory alive. I didn't know Uncle Fult well, having only met him 1968 when we were in California seeing my older brother off to Vietnam, and later seeing him here in Michigan at my father's house. He always had time to talk. He was my "unc" and I was his "neph."

  • I was born in the mid-1950's, so I almost grew up at Disneyland. Thank you so much for this post. I view it all the time ever since I found it. The Horseshoe no longer exists.

Your post brings back so many memories of my childhood.

I can picture Fulton Burley while watching your YouTube post as if I'm there right now.

I'm really surprise the Horseshoe is closed. Couldn't new actors do these bits?

    Thanks for posting this!

By the way, I'm thirsty too :)

    "Oh that's good, no that's bad . . ."

  • Thx for the post!

I worked in the Adventureland/Frontierland area from '84 to '92 and had the fortune of getting to talk to Fulton and Betty Taylor quite often. His dressing room was right next to our break area of mostly Jungle Cruise Skippers.

Fulton always had time to say a few words to us, as he ran in and out of his room between shows. Just a great guy!!! I'm sorry to hear his passed.

I'm very fond of those days working at the park, when the spirit of Walt Disney was still present!

  • Bravo Dana! I grew up with Fulton Burley and Wally Boag. My kids grew up with you and your telepathic bird. They loved your show as much as I loved the original.

Fulton Burley was one of a kind -- a masterful act. And what can be said about the comic genius of Wally Boag. Betty Taylor too. What happy memories.

You, my friend, are cut from the same cloth! I saw you at the Magic Castle a while ago, terrific as usual. I was reminded of those great years at Disneyland.

    Again, Bravo.

  • If you add the terms Golden and horseshoe to the tags, or the title, of this item it will help it appear in searches for that more often

Just a friendly for your information Thanks for sharing this fantastic Video!

  • I miss them all, too. I saw Wally and Fulton in a personal appearance a few years back and they still had it.

I used to take all of my relatives to the Golden Horseshoe Revue and never had one person be disappointed. Those performers were carrying on a tradition. I hope that somewhere out there are some talented people who will revive such a show.

Disneyland needs another live show like that.

    Thanks for posting the vid.

  • No disrespect taken. Its difficult 2 make comparisons after losing such a talent. Sure I could say 'Fulton was good but he was no Steve Martin, Red Skelton or Wally Boag' Not a very good eulogy if u ask me. Fultons timing was impeccable. Who was funnier Laurel or Hardy? Gleason or Carney? Its not fair. Wallys gr8. But Fulton didnt use material. His job wasnt 'Comic'. He played his part superbly. Gr8 lessons can b learned from gr8 str8 men. 4 me my chats w Fulton were inspiring beyond compare T

  • Mr. Daniels, you are to me what he was to you, and I appreciate your work, and am very glad that my daughters got to experience your live shows whenever possible and that their memories of you will stay as precious to them as my memories of Fulton, and Wally Boag remain to me. Thank you.

  • that makes me cry.
