Also i guess you could argue that atoms are never truely destroyed, so maybe we will be around forever.

Think about how similar the elliptical structure of the atom is similar to that of the known universe...

  • I have been thinking the same things for some time now, searching the internet for others who have the same theory. Finally, I've found you. Amazing. You took the words right out of my mouth! Is there an actual name for this theory? Whatever it is that we are a part of, it is alive, because we are alive. The universe is not infinite, existence is.

  • @sanstache1 Hey, thanks for the comment! I'm not sure if there is an actual name for this theory, as far as I know it isn't a recognized theory at all! It's just something that has been on my mind for as long as I can remember. All science is just proposals for models that fit our interpretation of nature, no one can ever know what is really true or what we are really a part of. But I agree, our universe seems so full of movement that it has to be part of something alive and something infinite.

  • Your ideas were great! I actually can relate to your thoughts, our universe being in an atom made me wonder for a long time. Great thing I decided to type that into youtube, found someone who I can relate to :)

  • @iamwillotree Hey thanks for the comment. It's great that you can relate to the idea i'm trying to get across, I don't feel alone anymore :P

  • @tibees i love your outlook. curiosity has no harm. It only leads one to his own source of existence. The universe in all it's vastness is absolutely nothing. it is the shadow of reality. observer alone is real, which is why i wish scientist spent more time understanding the spirit that observes the illusory world.

  • @DevornCauser Thank you for the kind words, they mean a lot. Yes, we can never be absolutely sure of what it is that we are a part of, all we can do is make the best of what we do know, and importantly, remain curious.

  • you're words are so poetic. we will never know and that is the mystery that makes life beautiful.

  • I have thought about this a lot it is very interesting
