So, I know a LOT of people is daring to Dair now, even some who used to be Chair shippers. As I said previously, I respect your opinion.
In fact, I admit that Blair and Dan have really good moments in Gossip Girl and they're the ones making the show entertaining lately.
I do like Dan and Blair as friends 'cause since they "hated" each other, they've seen in each other what other people didn't and they treat each other in a different and unique way. So, as I said, I like them. As friends.

Although I LOVE some Dair videos I've seen, I'm not jumping in the Dan/Blair ship. As you can see, I'm still a hardcore Chuck&Blair shipper.
In the past I've said they're my OTP and they still are.

A lot of Chair shippers who are in Team Dair now are hating on Chuck for what he has done to Blair in the past and I do not blame them. Chuck has been an asshole in a lot of episodes. I'm really pissed on the writers for ruining so much who used to be my favorite character.
But even when I also have hated Chuck more than a few times, I still think Blair and him are perfect for each other. Don't I think Blair deserves better? I do. But I think she deserves a better Chuck. Chuck needs to think about everything he's done, what he's doing and what he plans to do next.
He's now so focused on his dad's company than he can't see anything else, that's why he's fooling himself. I'm not defending him, 'cause nothing could justify what he did to Blair, especially in season 3. I'm just saying he needs to mature, and when he does, he can go back to Blair.

Both Blair and Chuck know they've screwed up a lot of times, but Chuck is weaker than Blair, if you think about it. Both of them have suffered not only in love, but in life in general. But Chuck has almost never had a person by his side, to be honest. Eleanor has been hard on Blair. True. But she still acts like a loving mother sometimes. Bart did it only in the episode before his death.
So when Blair sees Chuck with other girl, she's sad, of course. She's miserable. But then she puts her head high and tries to move on with her life, 'cause she's Blair Waldorf and she's the HBIC.
But Chuck's not, so he doesn't. When Chuck sees another boy with Blair he's destroyed and devastated. He thinks there's no reason to live anymore. That's why, in a stupid way, he rather goes to every single woman he can find to keep him company. Because Chuck's afraid to be alone.
I believe Chuck is very possesive with the things he loves. There's Nate, his best friend. When Nate started talking more to Dan, Chuck felt the need to destroy Dan 'cause he was stealing his best friend.
When his dad died, Chuck needed to put his anger and sadness on Lily, 'cause he thought she was the reason his father was dead.
Chuck knows that Blair loves him and he takes advantage of that. He knows she can't avoid him, so every girl he can be with (as a couple) will have something to do with Blair. And that's how they both can share something again.
And although Blair deep inside knows this, she also dates guys that are the complete opposite of Chuck. I believe, first, so she can finally see that Chuck is not the person for her and also to see that Chuck IS the person for her, at the same time.
Who else could udnerstand their scheming, psychotic, bitchy ways to get something? Who else could understand the pain and the fear of ending up alone? No one else but each other.
As Blair said in 2x13: Only a masochist could ever love such a narcissist. And truth is, they both play the two roles every now and then.

As much as I love them, though, I really don't want them to be together this season or even the next one. I don't want a sad Chuck coming to Blair being all: "The last girl I was with was a distraction, I love you etc" and Blair being: "Sure, Chuck. I love you, we'll be happy forever etc"
I want Blair to show him what he lost for being such an idiot and I want him to realize that he is still an idiot and fight for her if he really wants her back.

So, I think you've got my point. I'm still a Chair shipper. And I have to say I'll always be. There's no other Blair for Chuck and there's no other Chuck for Blair. No matter how much each one of them tries searching for them. They belong together.

Now... onto the video: Not great, as you can see. I really wanted to vid them but I wasn't sure about the song. But I didn't want to make a sassy hot CB vid now. Maybe next time.

@TheKissOfTheSnow THANK YOU SO MUCH <3 Mine it's not the first, though, there are other CB vids with this song that are great :D From my point of view, Season 3 was the worst :( not only with what happens/doesn't happen with CB, but in general. I do think you should keep watching, though. Season 4 is really good (: and has great CB moments too :D

AMAZING. Great job and wonderful description. I think people get far too serious about this show, forgetting that drama, passion and intrigue is what makes it watchable. I like Dan and Blair and their occasional banter which was funny, now its turned into a punch line. The obvious manipulation of audience, by making Chuck an asshole to prop up Dan is kinda sickening. Like you said, Blair does deserve better, but she deserves BETTER CHUCK. And I hope he redeems himself.

I pretty much stick with the show nowadays for Chuck and Chuck/Blair. Thumbs up, I agree Blair does deservs better but it's a better Chuck that she deserves, not a Donut for God sake. Surely I'm not a big fan of Dan since the end of season 1 but that's not the reason why I am so against the Dair thing. As clear as I can see, Chuck is always the one for Blair from the beginning. End of story.
