I was pleased to see Sen. Barack Obama appearing on the Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday weekend at Dr. King's old church to make an inspiring speech that, among other things, addressed possible prejudices among Obama's own allies in the Black community. Obviously, many of you haven't checked your facts, in that there were MANY Jews who were in the front lines of the Civil Rights Movement,who got arrested and brutalized along with the black community. Why do people get upset when someone speaks the truth. We ask for people to treat us like citizens and yet we can't give the same curtesy to other groups. Obama is only saying what Martin Luther Jr. said. In order for us to gain equality we must treat eachother (white, black, hispanic, etc) with love and decency.
