nice work. is it possible to use pneumatic pumps to raise up and down the car while maintaining the suspension of the springs.

Yes, the air tanks can act as a pneumatic accumulator and will act as suspension to a certain degree. However, it's not very good! You either end up with too hard suspension or a very low spring rate, plus you really need one tank per wheel to do it properly. Citroens use something like 9 accumulators!!!

Well, I bought the Lego 8466 model way after they stopped making it... that cost me £100 (around $200 US). Other than that I just added pneumatic pieces I had. It's come along, and now I've got a 4wd, 4ws low-rider that can climb 45-degree slopes, must get round to filming it :-)
