Did I miss a step? You said create an HTML home page but on your tutorial it's a PHP home page. Do I need to convert the HTML page to PHP? Also could you type the php coding you put on the top of the page in your description box. Can't tell if there are spaces or not. Noob...sorry.

@skillssaysitall I understand that your question was posted long time ago. But in case other people are interested here are the answers:
Create an empty .php file and copy and paste your html code inside.
At the very top of your html code you should have the code from the video. Sorry, can't give you the code, because youtube does not allow to put the code into the comment.

Thank you!! I had found a couple other methods of doing the same thing, but both were much more complicated. So simple; I love it. You rock. :)
If you want to manage the content on the static page how would you do so?

@andrecalvoandre You would have to update the page manually via HTML like using Dreamweaver or any text editor. No CMS unfortunately.
