Sounds even better on vinyl.

You're absolutely right! The early 80s were the best, as far as as new alternative music is concerned, and I agree, hip hop and R&B is garbage!
However, there are lots of interesting and talented bands playing 80s-influenced music today. You have to dig deeper, though. Check out Apoptygma Berzerk, Ashbury Heights, Parralox, Pride And Fall, Waves Under Water, The Girl & The Robot, Dekad etc.

HOLY SHIT this so ahead of its time! i wonder how it must have sounded back then!!!!!

'80 - '85 seems to have been the best time span for music ever. Synth savy guys in leather jackets rolling out experimental yet danceable music. Some call it new wave. Others synthpop. I simply call it greatness. All we have today is garbage (hip hop and R&B). In America anyways.

Amazing track. I too first heard it on Tiga's DJ Kicks mix CD. I'm a big fan of Tiga, any music he likes I usually enjoy too. I love listening to his DJ mixes!
So thanks to Tiga for putting me on to this track, it's also got me investigating Soft Cell's b-sides.
Some funky stuff!
